Hector is a Merced native who earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of California, Berkeley, graduating with Dean’s Honors. He went on to receive his Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of the Pacific, where he received honors for academic excellence and clinical training. During his graduate studies, he was inducted into the Pi Alpha National Honor Society for his leadership and scholastic accomplishments.
He received comprehensive clinical and surgical dermatology training in Turlock under the mentorship of Dr. Christian Jones and PA-C Jordan Jepson, where he developed a strong commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys staying active through fitness and sports—especially basketball and football—and cherishes time spent traveling, going to the beach, and visiting Disneyland with his wife.
